The angry crowed demanding for good supply of electricity, fixings of pre-paid meters and proper charges on consumption of units, comported themselves and marched through Onisha-Enugu expressway to the officals of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company at Awada, GRA,  Ogidi, the headquarters of Idemili North Local Government Area in Awada  they did not take it easy with the EEDC officers as they waved placards which had captions like  “EEDC give us prepaid meters”; “Old PHCN is better than EEDC”; “EEDC officials are taking us for granted”.
While they sang "warlike" songs to express their anger.
At that stage they were addressed by Mr. Fred Ugwu an official of EEDC  who "commended" them of their good behaviour and promise to look into the grievances and channel them to the appropriate higher authority for consideration and solution.

27 DEAD AS BOKO HARA ATTACK CHAD

Welcome to Cyprian G. Ogba's blog
Due to yesterday surprise bombing, the government of Chad has put stringent security in place to avoid an unnecessary repetition of killings.
However, the government has been able to contain the boko haram treat.
Now the total number of people dead are 27 including some members of boko haram and about 100  injured are reportedly receiving medical treatment in the hospital.
Such violent attacks on Chad by this boko haram insurgents and the Malian jihadist are really meant to frustrate and stop the Chadian government from her leadership role in the proposed regional army.
